As you must already know, planes are supposed to be tightly locked so no air comes in during a flight because the pressure would certainly make the plane fall. Well, just imagine how scared the passengers of a Qantas Airways flight that left from Los Angeles en route to Australia felt when, all of a sudden, the rain that was pouring outside found its way into the plane. The aisles were almost completely flooded with water and the pilot decided it was safer to just turn the plane around and land back (safely) in the Los Angeles airport.
