There are ideally two types of life assurance available in the UK. These are term life and full life cover. The choice will depend on a buyer's needs. Term life is cheaper and is often taken up for a given period of time, such as during the term of a mortgage or when children are still in school. Full life protection covers a customer for their entire life. It is more expensive but has attractive benefits. There are a few more but these are the main types.
