How food is produced not only has a significant impact on the environment but also on the mental, physical and emotional health of an individual. Organic foods are grown with manure and compost (natural fertilizers), unlike regular products where food is grown with synthetic fertilizers. There is a fallacy that artificial fertilizers are better since they bring about bigger and prettier results within a short time. However, considering the harm done to the environment, the plant and you as the consumer, organic products are the best option.
